Materials Required: Litti Chokha Ingredients

    For Litti or Baati-
  • Dough – Wheat flour – 02 cups,
  • Oil – Oil – 02 tablespoons,
  • Celery_ Celery – 1/2 tsp
  • Desi ghee – Pure ghee – 02 tablespoons,
  • Salt_salt – as per taste.
  • For stuffing

  • Sattu / Roasted Gram_Sattu / Roasted Gram – 01 cup,
  • Garlic_Garlic – 05 buds (grated),
  • Ginger_Ginger – 01 inch piece (grated),
  • Onion_Onion – 01 (finely chopped),
  • Green chilli – Green chilli – 02 (finely chopped),
  • Coriander leaves – 1/2 cup (finely chopped),
  • Celery_ Celery – 01 teaspoons,
  • Nigella seeds – 1/2 tsp,
  • Lemon juice – Lemon juice – 01 tbsp,
  • 02 stuffed red chili pickle seasoning,
  • Salt_salt – as per taste.

  • To sharpen or serve

  • Potato – Potato – 01 (boiled),
  • Brinjal_ Brinjal – 01 (big and round),
  • Tomato_ Tomato – 04 (Medium Size),
  • Garlic_Garlic – 04 (peeled),
  • Onion_Onion – 03 (finely chopped),
  • Ginger_Ginger – 01 inch piece (grated),
  • Green chillies – Green chillies – 03 (finely chopped),
  • Coriander leaves – 01 tbsp (chopped),
  • Mustard oil – mustard oil – 01 tbsp,
  • Salt_salt – as per taste.

For Litti Chokha Recipe in Hindi Litti Chokha Recipe, first filter the flour, mix salt, celery and oil and knead a little hard dough, then cover it with a wet cloth.

Now you have to prepare to make stuffing. Sieve the sattu first for that. But if you are using roasted chickpeas, then finely grind them into powder.
Now add ginger, onion, garlic, coriander, celery, nigella, chili masala, green chillies, lemon juice and salt to the sattu / gram powder. Also add a little water to it and mix it well together.
Method of preparation of litti: Take a dough and make a dough according to its size. After making the dough, take one piece of dough and fill it with two spoons of stuffing and close it well. Likewise fill all the littis. Now preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
After this, put all the littis in the baking tray and cook till they turn golden brown. After ripening from one side, flip them and cook till the other side is golden brown. After the littis are cooked, take them out and immerse them in ghee and serve with the filling.
Method of making chokha: To make chokha, first boil the tomatoes and remove the peel. Now wash the brinjal and make a hole in it with the help of a thin knife. Put peeled garlic buds in those holes. Then cook the eggplants in the oven until they are soft.
After roasting the eggplants, remove the skin and mash them. Also mix boiled potatoes and tomatoes in it and mix everything together and mash it well. Now add onion, ginger, green chillies, coriander, salt and mustard oil to this mixture and mash it well.
